“So called Soft Skills are really the Core Skills”
We close development gaps usually left by schools, universities and internal training, by providing core skills needed for people to advance their business and professional skills and effectiveness by using practical tools.
Men and women are promoted into senior positions where they often find that there are key skills they need to apply and yet they have never had the opportunity to acquire the tools needed to perform effectively. This applies particularly to people who are technically competent, yet have not formally learned skills that they are simply presumed to have acquired. These may include interpersonal, communication, confidence and rapport building skills as well as specific skills such as leadership, teambuilding, negotiation, influence, persuasion, decision making, assertiveness, business etiquette and presentation skills.
MPowering fills this gap by working with you to carefully assess your organisation’s needs and by identifying which of the course modules MPowering has developed are best suited to your requirements and where necessary, tailoring modules or adding new modules to create a programme that will best meet your expected outcomes. A typical programme could include 4 to 6 days spread over a period of 2 to 6 months, depending on what suits your organisation. A selection of MPowering course modules from which courses can be constructed is detailed overleaf. (Depending on the modules selected, about 4 modules can usually be delivered each full day.)
In addition to group courses, one-to-one coaching/mentoring is available by arrangement for selected individuals on an as needed basis.
